Grant Submission Recognition Event
The 2024 Grant Submission Recognition Event was a success! This event recognized West Chester University’s grant awardees for their research and creative activities. We were able to recognize 90+ researchers across campus who have submitted grants in the past academic year.

New NSF Mandate
The U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) issued Dear Colleague Letter (NSF 25-011) to notify the research community about the mandatory use of multifactor authentication (MFA) for Research.gov sign-in effective on Sunday, October 27, 2024. All external users must first complete a one-time MFA enrollment process (now available) and will then use MFA to sign into Research.gov going forward. Training resources, including how-to guides and frequently asked questions (FAQs), are available on the new About Signing Into Research.gov page on Research.gov Help.
Student Research Spotlight
ORSP is delighted to put the spotlight on Everett Frey’s creative activity, a musical composition titled “A Storm”. Everett presented “A Storm” at the 2024 Student Research and Creative Activity Awards (SRCA). He was one of 2024 SRCA Student Award Winners! Summer Undergraduate Research Institute (SURI)
This is an opportunity for students to work collaboratively with a faculty mentor through a paid five-week program, conducting research and creative activities which will help prepare students for graduate-level studies and/or careers. Apply Here by 03/06/2025.
Student Micro Grant Program
Applications are now open for summer 2025 student research grants. All project results must lead to public policy considerations that are clearly relevant for Pennsylvania state, county or local government.
