Accounting Minor
Our accounting courses are designed to prepare a student for entrance into the fields of public, private, or governmental accounting. The minor program gives students fundamental classes with elective courses ranging from auditing to fraud examination.
Applied Community and Environmental Sustainability Minor

Business Analytics Minor

Specifically, students will learn database management, data programming, and data visualization skills that can be applied in daily business practice.
Business GIS Minor
This program provides students with the spatial analysis skills applied to business-oriented data and questions through a focus on developing expertise with Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
Business Law Minor
This minor is designed to help students develop an understanding of law as it applies to organizational decision-making and strategy.
Criminal Justice Minor
This program is designed to meet the needs of those students studying areas related to criminal justice, such as accounting, communications, computer science, political science, psychology, public administration, or sociology, who may desire a secondary expertise in criminal justice to facilitate particular career goals.
Digital Marketing Minor
This program will help students gain professional skills to prepare for future development and management of digital business technology and digital marketing channels. Students in this minor will learn concrete social media marketing, digital advertising, digital database management, digital programming and search engine marketing skills that can be applied in the fast-growing digital business sectors.
Economics Minor

This program provides knowledge of financial literacy, especially in the fields of corporate finance, financial management, investments, and international finance, and it develops skills in communication, problem solving, and technology, as well as an understanding of theoretical concepts in finance.
Geographic Information Systems Minor
This minor explores the fundamental concepts and skills of geographic information systems (GIS) as a tool for data management, spatial analysis, and geovisualization. Students will explore the foundations of spatial data, database management, modeling, cloud-based applications, and the production of analysis and cartographic outputs for research and community engagement. The application and visualization components of this minor align well with disciplines in the earth, computer, and social sciences.
Geography & Planning Minor
This minor provides a flexible geography focus that combines well with other majors. Clusters of courses may involve environmental geography, spatial technology, international courses, or courses especially suitable as preparation for social studies education, for example.
Human Resource Management Minor
This minor introduces students to fundamental knowledge of the field, including employment law, staffing and development, and compensation. In addition, students gain key insights about organizational behavior and a marketable skill set that transcends disciplines.
International Business Minor
The program is designed to give students the knowledge, skills, and experience needed to understand and make international business decisions in a cross- and multicultural context. The program includes two core courses, two language courses, and three elective courses from a variety of disciplines, including anthropology, political science, economics, geography, and history.
Supply Chain Management Minor
This 18-credit minor teaches the efficient flow of goods and services within and among the firms – from suppliers and manufacturers to retailers and consumers, as well as relevant cross-functional skills.
White Collar Crime Minor
This minor consists of courses in both accounting and criminal justice and examines subjects like fraud, computer crime, and interviewing and assessing offenders.
