Program Overview
The B.S. in Economics at West Chester University focuses on business related economic analysis. Our student develop their communication, problem-solving, and technical skills as well as an understanding of theoretical and practical economic concepts. The program emphasizes the economic issues affecting society and the techniques for analyzing these and other economic issues. The Economics major is housed within the College of Business and Public Management, which is focused on academic innovation, globalization, sustainability, and community partnerships. The College encourages students to be empowered, engaged, and entrepreneurial. Our graduates are prepared for careers in business or government, or for the pursuit of graduate study.
