I was born and raised in Akron, Ohio, where I graduated from Walsh Jesuit High School in 1990. I completed my undergraduate work at MIT in 1994 and obtained my Ph. D. in Mathematics at the University of Michigan in 1999 under the direction of Trevor Wooley. I was a visiting assistant professor in the Math Department at Texas A&M University from 1999-2001 and was an NSF Postdoctoral Fellow in Mathematics at Penn State University from 2001-2004, mentored by Bob Vaughan. I then spent 5 years at Butler University and am currently Professor of Mathematics at West Chester University.
