Graduate Student Association
GSA President's Welcome Letter 2025-2026
Dear Current and Incoming Graduate Students,
The Graduate Student Association (GSA) of West Chester University (WCU) would like to welcome you to the start of a new chapter. Whether you are pursuing a degree, completing a professional certificate, or taking a graduate level course, we are here to support you on your educational journey!
We are a group of graduate students that serve as a representative body for The Graduate School. While graduate school can be challenging, the outcome of our perseverance proves worthwhile. Our goal is to connect graduate students to one another and provide an inclusive environment for all incoming, graduating, and current graduate students where your voices matter.
As we continue on through 2025 into 2026, we will plan several events, including free in-person headshots, trivia nights, outings, and more. These will be provided to any graduate students so long as they are registered through RamConnect. Our GSA board welcomes you to stay connected with us. Through your involvement and voices, we can shape a stronger, inclusive, and cohesive graduate community.
Welcome to the 2025-2026 academic year!

Welcome Graduate Student
The Graduate Student Association (GSA) promotes the well-being of graduate students through educational, professional and social events, and advocates for graduate student needs.
As a graduate student, you are an important part of the WCU community. You will find exceptional resources here, including our Graduate Student Lounge on the first floor of the F.H. Green Library (Room 128) and the Graduate Dean's Professional Development Award that reimburses conference registration fees. We encourage you to explore the full range of opportunities that we offer—participate in workshops, attend social events and programs, seek out faculty with diverse interests, and network with other graduate students from various disciplines and parts of the world.
We are looking forward to supporting your academic and personal success at WCU, and if there is anything we can do to assist you, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Meet the 2024-25 GSA Executive Board.
