At the Global Engagement Office, we understand that education abroad can have a profound impact on your educational and personal lives to the point where it may be hard to readjust back to the life you knew before you left. We are committed to assisting returning students in their adjustment back to life at West Chester through our office programming and connecting students to other campus resources.
Welcome Back to WCU meetings
As a new initiative in our office this year to assist returning students, Welcome Back to WCU consists of a group of recently returning study abroad students who meet to discuss their study abroad experience, things they learned about themselves and a new culture, and any challenges they may be facing while re-adjusting. The group meets 1-2 times each semester to provide support for each and every West Chester student that has studied abroad. We want to hear about your experience and how studying abroad positively or negatively impacted your life.
