Quick Help for 25Live Pro: Canceling an Event

  • CONFIRMED Requests:If cancellations need to be made, please reply to your confirmation email with CANCEL in the subject line.
  • TENTATIVE Requests:The requester can cancel a request.  If you are unable to make changes, contact the approver of the space.  Please include the Event Name and Reference Number in all communications.
    • While logged in, click on Go to Search, located on the upper right-hand corner).
    • The “Select Object” will default to
    • Under the “Saved Searches (optional)” drop down, select the “Pre-Defined Group” of Events You Have Requested.
    • Click Search. A list of events will appear below your search.
    • Click on the event you would like to cancel.
    • Your event will open to the “Details” page.
    • Next to Edit Event, at the upper right-hand side of the screen, there is a box that should say Tentative. Change Tentative to Cancelled.
    • Once Cancelled is selected, an affirmation box will appear. Click on OK.The Event State will change to Cancelled and any space or resource assignments will be removed.
    • To exit the event, click on Go to Search (to return to your Search Screen) or 25Live Pro (to return to your dashboard) both located on the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
  • Canceling an event does not automatically cancel any supplemental requests for additional services. Requesters are required to follow up with individual departments to cancel all requests for additional services.
