Graduate Industrial-Organizational Club

The West Chester University Graduate Industrial-Organizational Club, which can also be referred to as (WCU) GIO, is a student-led association geared towards creating connections, learning and networking opportunities, and professional-skill workshops for students within the Graduate Industrial-Organizational Psychology program at West Chester University. The mission of GIO is to provide ample professional growth opportunities, cement strong connections to current and former student populations, and help orient incoming students toward a successful academic career. Whether you’re curious about what I/O Psychology entails, just starting to explore the field, or simply interested in developing your existing skills to prepare for your career post-graduation, GIO is the ideal place to connect with like-minded peers and create long-withstanding student and faculty connections.

This student-led association is advised by I/O program faculty member Dr. Nolan and Dr. Samipour-Biel (co-advisor). It is dedicated to its mission of providing its members networking opportunities with program alums, providing students with the opportunity to showcase or build professional skills through student-led workshops, and engaging in fun, informal activities that are geared towards assisting students in their exploration of both the I- and O- sides of I/O Psychology.
