The Rams’ Guide to Success (The RG)

The Ram’s Guide to Success (RG) is designed to help students find the tools they need to be successful, and to provide a guide for staff and faculty to help students connect with the programs, events, and services they need to be successful at West Chester.

Education for Success is identified as the fundamental goal of WCU’s strategic plan, Building on Excellence (2013).  WCU is devoted to ensuring that students have direct access to all of the incredible resources that the university environment offers to promote education for success.  At WCU, student success means more than just good grades or high retention and graduation rates.  WCU values the development of ability within and among individual students.  The Academic and Student Affairs divisions of the university work together to create and implement programs and experiences that promote not only increased knowledge and intellectual skills, but that also promote individual growth and development.  We focus on the development of student well-being and self-knowledge in order to help students thrive during their college years, an experience that is closely associated with the development of a sense of personal meaning and purpose through adulthood.
