A Message from the
Alumni Association President
As the crisp autumn air settles over campus, I’m filled with gratitude for the energy and connection we experienced during Homecoming Weekend. From the lively tailgate and the roar of the crowd at the big game to the joyful Class of 1975 50th Reunion, Homecoming was a powerful reminder of what makes the Golden Ram spirit so special. Thank you to everyone who returned to celebrate. Your presence and pride made the weekend unforgettable.
Homecoming is more than just a celebration; it is a catalyst. The connections we rekindle in those moments remind us of the value and impact of staying engaged year-round. As we move deeper into the academic year, the Alumni Association remains committed to strengthening our alumni partnerships with each other, with current students, and with the University. Our goal is to create more opportunities for alumni to connect meaningfully, whether through professional networking, mentoring, or supporting WCU programs and initiatives. Your time, expertise, and resources are invaluable in shaping the next generation of leaders and ensuring that the Golden Ram legacy continues to thrive.
If you haven’t already, I encourage you to join one of our Alumni Networks at www. wcualumni.org. This is the easiest way to connect with fellow Rams in your area or field of interest, and to stay in the loop about upcoming events and opportunities.
Let’s carry the momentum of Homecoming forward into the new year by building partnerships that will fortify our community and highlight the best of WCU!
Rams Up,
Devynn T. Gray ’19, M’20
President, WCU Alumni Association
